Key Information and Forms
Reporting to Parents
Parents are welcome at Hillmead and are encouraged to become actively involved in the life of the school. We aim to create an active partnership between parents and staff. Twice a year parents are invited to discuss their child's progress with the class teacher. Parents receive a detailed report at the end of each school year. In addition, parent workshops and open sessions are arranged to enable parents to find out more about new developments in education.
Parents are always welcome to come to school to discuss any aspect of their child's progress and should not hesitate to contact staff to seek advice on any matter. If there is a concern, the staff would appreciate knowing first. To avoid disruption of classroom work, please make an appointment to speak to the teacher at a mutually convenient time.
To keep parents up-to-date, we email via School Gateway. Please ensure the office have an up to date email address for you to make this possible. If you are having any problems accessing it please let the school office know.
Getting Involved
Parents working voluntarily in the classroom are invaluable, and their help has enabled teachers to spend more time working with the children. Others, unable to commit the time regularly to helping in school, generously share their time, skills or expertise to benefit the children at home.
Any offers of help are gratefully received. If you can offer any time, please contact the school office.
